On 11th January 2006, Vicky gave birth to our first grandchild - Neve Victoria Halliden.

Wondered where the name came from? Neve is an anglicised version of the Irish name Niamh (pronounced Neeve) and meaning "radiance, lustre, brightness." In Celtic mythology, Niamh was the daughter of the sea god Manannan. She was known as "Niamh of the Golden Hair," a beautiful princess riding on a white horse.
David's hair was blond when he was young so there is a chance Neve will eventually have golden hair although from the photos, it looks unlikely. However, that does not stop her from being bright and radiant.
